Kendra Alexander Foundation

The Kendra Alexander Foundation supports the efforts of activists to educate themselves in order to make a socialist perspective a more integral part of the complex of struggles for social justice.

The Foundation believes that these struggles for social justice — for economic democracy, environmental justice, and a peaceful world; against racism, sexism, homophobia, and imperialism — can benefit from the inclusion of a perspective that views these issues in the context of overall social transformation and the development of a socialist society.

The Foundation owns a building in San Francisco's Mission District which houses a number of progressive/community organizations.
